Gonna be in SD 2/14-18.
Wants to golf 4+ rounds and drink hoppy fermented beverages.
Morley to Brengle and ???
Thanks for any help, its tough going from the #1 DG+Beer state of Michigan to the hostile SoCal environment.

San Diego is full of breweries and folks there are mighty friendly. You should make time for a brewery tour or two.

Directly from Wikipedia:

San Diego County, California has been called "the Craft Beer Capital of America."[1][2][3] The county is home to more than 100 breweries, microbreweries, and brewpubs. Based on 2014 sales volume, four San Diego County breweries rank among the 50 largest craft brewers in the United States.[4] San Diego County brewers pioneered the specialty beer style known as Double India Pale Ale (Double IPA), sometimes called San Diego Pale Ale. Its beer culture is a draw for tourism, particularly during major festivals such as San Diego Beer Week and the San Diego International Beer Competition. San Diego County breweries like Stone Brewing Co., AleSmith Brewing Company and Ballast Point Brewing Company are consistently rated among the top breweries in the world.[5][6][7]

I'd add Kit Carson to your short list of play worthy courses. The rest are equally underwhelming for one reason or another in that general area. Sunset cliffs is a cool place to watch the sun go down.

Morley is a must and you need to play early or else you will be there all day. and all around the area starting at Hamiltons on south 30th Street you are in beer Mecca. I will be at Morley on Monday teeing off at 630 am you are welcome to join. Sun Valley in La Mesa is a 9 hole course on a regular golf course that is fun, Olive Glen/Sycuan is a small course laid-out in a olive grove and is part of the Sycuan golf course and casino, Brengle Terrace is a good place to play. Kit Carson is also fun, I will be there Sunday. Tuesday nights at Bolt Brewery in La Mesa there is a putting league. Enjoy the rough San Diego weather, bring sunblock and chapstick, its been warm this week.

If you go to the Ballast Point homebrew mart, they sell some discs with the Ballast Point logo

Thanks for the help...prolly see you at Morley Monday, jtrod. Looking forward to some winter golf and beers. I plan on hitting up the San Diego local area first and then heading north to Brengle and Kit later in the week, maybe Tuesday or Wednesday.
