you could get a beat in Elite pro XL and it would be pretty understable. I had one that was beat up. Flew much like an Eagle L, maybe more US and less speed.
I'd agree in as much as a beat XL might perform like a newer Sidewinder, but I wouldn't say they match up very closely in a head to head comparison at a similar state of wear.
JLS would be a good choice as well - a very controllable disc, and I've always liked Millenium's "base line" plastic, which really isn't baseline at all, but feels similar to a hybrid of Innova's Pro-line and Discraft's Elite X. They start out as nice, straight throwers and beat in sweetly to where they turnover easily, hold that line well, and are very hyzer-flippable. :thmbup:jls or fd would be my choice
