Swedish and Canadian players?

I'd like to know which one course in each country might be considered the most important or most iconic?
Perhaps the first one installed, or the one which has been played most for national championships? Widely considered the best?
I realize naming one is a challenge, but I would appreciate the effort.

Toronto Island is a pretty iconic Canadian course. I know some large competitions have been held here, though I am not sure what and when. It is a highly rated course and unique in its urban location. A beautiful round. I have only played a couple Canadian courses, but this was a gem.

The 1987 pro worlds were held on the island. This is the only time worlds have been help outside the US.
