I am not sure what time frame my star teerex is from? But it's a little of both descriptions for me. I was surprised at how easily it hyzer flips, but it only flips to straight for 300-350. Then, it starts to meat hook fade.... Really, it's a bit too beefy for my arm but it has a place for hyzer finishing headwind drives in my bag. I don't bother to carry it if there's not supposed to be wind.

It is my slight headwind/OS no wind disc. I can't throw it into the 30+ mph headwinds but it's good and reliable. I really like it.
