How would you rate these stability wise.

I have all four and stability is as follows least to most.

168 Champ eagle l
168 Champ eagle x
170 Champ Teebird
170 star TL

I didn't expect my TL to be the most overstable, it also the most beat in although all are fairly new

I think it's more like this (champion plastic) least to most:
EL
TL
TB
EX

For me this sounds about right depending the wearing of the discs. TL is surprisingly overstable with flashing. Without it's a Jekyll and Hyde transformation. No real stabilizers missing flashing shows how understable the mold really is. Take flashing off of Eagle X and it becomes straighter than a new TB. Break in a TB and you've got a really straight disc that doesn't flex as well as a new Eagle X without flashing. So it all depends on state of wear, weight and plastic. The order of stability changes so much with these discs that they overlap in several combinations with each other.
