The 13-year cicadas have the teebox

I live in SC and we get them every 13 years (this is the 13th year). I love the sound of them and don't mind them so much being around.

Apparently they're not evenly distributed. The noise at Stoney Hill is incredible.....but someone living 10 miles away said they weren't a problem at his place. Why us? When we bought the place the previous owners didn't say anything about seeding 50,000,000 bugs in 1998!
