Did these three a few weeks ago for our local club's league prizes.

Saw this disc on the shelf, because of its color I just had to throw my favorite Deep Purple Concert T onto it!

So last Christmas I got my buddy his first River and told him I'd do a dye when he decided what he wanted. In March he found a cool image. In April I started the dye and we were both happy with it so far. Then I got lazy. Finally finished his disc tonight.

^Thanks! I was going for sharpie art look but with Idye. Plus I figured we needed more dyes to look at while we wait for Bennett to get back. :)

^Yup. That one was a combo of Idye/acetone applied with paint brushes, Q-tips, and bamboo skewers. Shading is mostly brush and the line work is a lot of going over the same small area several times with the 'loaded' skewer to build up the solid black color. It's a fine line between having too much or too thick of a mix on your 'pen' or too little/too thin. Too much/too thick and you get blobs that are impossible to remove. Too thin/too little and you spend way too much time building up a consistent color.
Art is process. Experimenting and learning is where the fun is. Try it..... you'll like it!:D

This was going to be my huktoberfest dye. The color is way off what I was going for because of a small dye mishap. However now I think it looks like the oldschool pooh bear images. So it turned out ok. Unfortunately I didn't finish on time. Besides it has that ugly line down the side from a different mistake.

Old school pooh is exactly what it is, methinks those colors are perfect (of course they always look different in person)! Never would have seen that line on the side if you hadn't pointed it out.

It's definitely still an awesome dye and an awesome stencil. Lately I've been thinking about starting to piece together my 2013 tourney bag and theming all the dyes. If I decide on a cartoon character bag for 2013 I may pm you for that stencil!

I somehow managed to not weed part of the pinkie on Spock so I just sharpied it back in...

Also, I hate circles.
