Behold. Circular gradient.
I think a different color/plastic combo woulda been better - the orange kind of maxed out. It's tough to tell the difference between the start and halfway. I dropped the dye time per section from 5 min to 4 min at the half mark, and then to 3 min for the last 1/8th. The inner part is also a gradient kind of...but hard to tell in the pic - it circles the opposite way.
I'm going to do another with nothing else on it. Prob Star with a darker color.
This one is for whoever happens to be working at RR when I pick up my disc.

This summer I've had some spare time so I did one for my wife who has started disc golfing with me.

My first attempt at a stensel dye. I have water sanded several of my shaving cream dyes before, but I see even the smallest of scratches will cause the dye to leak beneath the vinyl.
I also found out that the overmold will wick the dye as well. So no more running the stensel all the way out

Just finished the Gekko Platnum Wizard to round out the PJ Masks trifecta for my son. Once he has the arm the Catboy Star Destroyer will come in handy, but until then we will need to start practicing tee shots with the Owlette Crystal Z Buzzz.
He will probably think these are totally lame by the time he is old enough to start playing. I had the time and the plastic to do these simple dyes, so I figured what the heck.

Weather is a little colder now so a little less discin and a little more dying. Put these on a couple of throwers for my glow bag.
I've been out of the sport (and dyeing) for over 2 years, but I thought you might enjoy some of my old work. Always a handcutter.podskiii
