The Evo Platinum I have has the same feel in the hand as all the recent glow and soft wizards I've picked up. Has a nice deep, but not too deep, feel in the hand. I never really cared for the fossil and SB runs that came out because they were too low profile and felt more like a judge than what I expected from a wizard.

The new Platinum Evo is pretty solid.
Still a bit shouldery though.

Very soft too. I get some really weird releases

Ions are the best premium Wizards if you can stomach that wonky inner rim.

I've thrown ions for years but I'm on a wizard break this summer.

I hate MVPs baseline plastic but love the premium.

Opposite for gateway.

Different strokes I guess. I have hands like the guy from the BK Whopper commercial and I love the deeper wizards.
