Maybe he's talking about the inauguration.
I mean seriously, I can't imagine Will throwing Prodigy
under the bus.
Well played.

New tour vehicle for Will
Crisis averted.
But this is a case where we know. They did do things for her including a disc, the Starfire. It wasn't enough by her own admission. So your point is moot.
. Low-ride-r, take a little trip.Well yeah, he's got to have wheels in Cuba!
Except that Val informed Innova she was leaving them long before she won her fourth World title. So being given the (poorly-selling) Starfire came after-the-fact of Val leaving.
Okay, back to the imminent collapse of Prodigy...
If your argument is that your name is going to sell discs, giving you a best selling disc isn't necessary to prove the point. Yes, it's gonna make you more money, but if you don't then increase sales, well you've won, and the company took a bath on a best selling disc.

In the end the lower end guys will benifit as well, but they were probally not in on the plot to create a phony company to drive up there value.
Brillant move by the prodigy creators, they made disc golf sponsorships great again.
Do you know how much it costs to create a new mold?
No idea. I would like to know.
I agree. This would be great info.
I don't think it would have taken much money to make Val feel supported by Innova. And I believe that this small sum would have been worth it.
Weird, my local brick and mortar store (it's actually just the warehouse of the local importer/distributor of discs that open for dg nerds a couple of times per week) has a bunch of tour series discs like the Des Reading Firebird, Hannah Tern, KJ Teebird, Sexybird, Brinster Destroyer, Climo swirly Wraith etc
Oh really? I must be behind the times on that policy then.
Sorry to mislead, like I said I don't really talk to Innova about that aspect of their business, I glean bits and pieces of info when it runs parallel to projects I'm working on.

I make plastic ejection molds for a living so to give you guys an idea. A simple mold that they would use would be starting at $3000 (alum test mold) to 10,000 depending on what they add to it. The molds themselves are fairly simple. Its the type of polish job to the mold that gets $$$$
Dave D. said in a recent AMA that Innova uses steel molds now, aluminum molds just didn't hold up very well.
