Dear disc golfers of the interwebs. The land of amazing disc golf Iowa has a tournament you don't want to miss. This will be the 2nd year. Last year carts were restricted to cart paths only but was still an amazing time. I want to invite each and everyone of you to join us April 7th in the Iowa City/Cedar Rapids area.

I will try and get some pictures that everyone will be jealous of. Last year it was really nice out. This years tournament has been pushed back 2 weeks from the orginal date. We currently have 50ish on the wait list and want to have 90 some people. See flyer for contact information.

Green's Fee (and cart fee) is included in the $70 Open cost.

There are currently 50+ people registered and spots are going fast! Player Max 90 participants.

Wow, course looks cool, but $32 greens fees puts it right up there in the top few courses in terms of cost.

Last year we had to modify the course to appease the grounds keeper....at the time we were bummed. After the event I heard more people say it was the funniest event they'd ever played than any I've played in 12 years. Big boy golf but fun for everyone.

$32 is expensive but not as expensive as a round of ball golf on the same course would cost.

Says $46 for weekdays and $54 for weekends. And in 24 days those rates are going to $67/$77. Even the $44 twilight rates they list are more expensive than a full day of disc golf will cost you.

Ok amazing course/time on Sunday already planned? Well why not extend that fun to Saturday as well? Shaver Showdown is Saturday April 6th at Shaver Park in cedar rapids. This event shouldn't hurt the wallet as much as TPC amana.

If you haven't played shaver in the past 2 years you will be in for a treat. We have stretched out the course combining several holes in places. We have also moved teepads around to make new holes and utilize the elevation better. This is non sanctioned but part of the Iowa tour. More information on the iowa tour can be found at:
