I'm trying to figure out a course that I played a long time ago (9 years) near Boston, all I remember of it is that it had a large stone building onsite, and was fairly poorly maintained on some parts, I remember losing a disc in a prairieish grass fairway.

could be Goodnow park in Princeton? apparently the place has gone to hell and the town is looking for volunteers to spruce it up...
Sounds like Borderland to me...
I was thinking borderlands too after I saw the big stone building

Goodnow Park would be about an hour outside Boston. Maybe it's an extinct course?
Borderland is now one of the better rated courses out there I believe a lot of work has been put into the course. It gets quite boggy and soggy and plays around the grounds of an old estate including a big stone mansion.

for sure, I think I must have played it when it was still young b/c I remember there being a lot of tall grass. But otherwise I have no memory of the course...oh well I'll have to go play it again
