Video clips by jr, lcgm8, mafa and others

JR what's with the lack of coverage for the Scandinavian Open? Is anybody out there filming? The only thing I have seen so far is a 6 minute highlight from Lat 64 of Wednesday's round.

Are you going to be filming the European Open?

Lat hired their own guy to film live broadcasts there. Check the Lat and Scandinavian Open websites. Both European majors charge money for non staffers to film. EO also claims copyright of any footage filmed by non staffers. It is rich enough for me to avoid first working and paying taxes, then doing volunteer work while filming then working on the videos after the event, then paying for the privilige of donating my time and work all for the unsure future of not knowing if it is allowed to publish said work. Capitalism plus slavery. Slaves did not need to pay for being slaves we are asked to but with a veto of the organizers. Remember how Innova advertized a while ago: "We are disc golf"? They seem to mean you are not and you can go ahem yourself.

So we are not partaking in those shenanigans.

I have no idea. Juha has not edited the first rounds of the European Championships 2014 for example. He is already busy arranging the next big filming project that happens shortly so i think now it is about getting more footage than releasing some in priority. Check out the Estonian champion Silver Lätt in the second preview. Juha said that Silver has the fastest wrist he has seen in sidearms. Ville Piippo was on film in the first preview video so there is a tough comparison. Silver also plays soccer but not in the major league. Don't rmember if it was the second division below the major league though. Silver has not played long. IIRC this is his thrid season. Like Ville Silver learned quickly and became competitive within his first years of playing rising like comets to the top.

PDGA Euro Tour Prodiscus Estonian Open Round 1 part 1. Valgehobusemäe sport center hosted most of the players and the course. First round players are: Sofie Sandström FPO (SWE), Jasper Heino MPO (FIN), Pranciškus Gricius MJ1 (LTU) and Martin Rotmeister MPO (EST).

Juha said that this time the course was physically the most demanding he has filmed in Estonia and it must have been tough for the ladies and juniors. Sofie is a veteran of the sport and in Europe she has always got to be counted as a favorite in any tournament she enters. Jasper and Pranciškus are junior aged but Jasper made his break through last year and elevated his level a lot and having had a growth spurt he shows no signs of slowing down. Pranciškus is a part of the great Gricius family the heart and soul of Lithuanian disc golf and movers and shakers in PDGA Europe. Martin is one of the top players of Estonia.

Frisbeepoint sponsored this distance showcase one day before the beginning of Finnish Championships 2015. The height is a little above sea level so compared to Primm there is a lot of distance lost. Avery Jenkins said that you gain about a quarter more distance at Primm vs sea level.

Express editing and commentating here from 2013 Finnish champion Pasi Koivu and team freestyle world championships silver medalist and Finnish championships silver medalist Visa Ruuhinen commenting in Finnish on the round from yesterday at the Finnish Championships on round 2. Finnish championships 2015 MPO final front 9 with Pasi Koivu, Teemu Nissinen, Joonatan Häme and Rene Honkanen. These local youngsters are good and a lead card spot at national championships with previous medalists Pasi and Teemu is like a pro clinic. Check out how mature these young guns are and how well they play versus their ratings. I expect that you will hear good things from them in the future. Joonatan is 15 years old.

Commentary in Finnish by Sami Poimala and Visa Ruuhinen. The statistics are average scores on the hole throughout the tournament and the numbers 1-x and so forth mean that the average score fo the hole is calculated between players of those placements overall after the event was finished. The three different averages for the top, the majority and the worst placing players indicate how hard the hole is and what the spread of scores between the players faring differently is. The lowest numbers are the best and worst individual score on the hole throughout the event.
