The top pic looks right on but the second one is not the same mold I don't think...

You got some sweet old plastic there for sure

the one that says "aviar Xd" is a beadless XD ....its aviar top xd bottom...its the first version of the Xd ...if Jay Dub sees this he can enlighten us a little better.....he is a XD junkie....he has a sweet one that has been in the bag since 89'

I have that Rockledge XD, same color disc and stamp. I just had it side by side with one of my beadless Avairs from the late 80s and it looks like this profile comparison. I believe the Aviar XD in question is an Aviar.
I might be wrong but I seem to remember hearing or seeing an old Aviar with the Aviar XD stamp. Aviars were thrown for distance at one time. Sam Ferrans used them a lot.
I think what you have is a very early and rare Aviar....but I could be wrong.

Another thing about that Aviar XD. The letters X & D do look like the same font used for all XDs, but on the XDs the XD is behind the word Aviar.
