And she did place well at Worlds:

4th in 2013
3rd in 2014
5th in 2015
6th in 2017

Interviewers got to know the importance of making people feel comfortable at first. Leading with a question like that just makes the whole situation awkward right off the bat.

You can tell she's pissed. Gotta give her credit for maintaining her composure and making the best of a bad situation.

Must be VERY few players that can make a living just playing discgolf AND make enough to have "money for life" after Discgolf....Paige, sure...but not many more.

So totaly understand why you took a normal job and stepped away from the scene.

I used to have a local shop, and thay had a life-size cardboard cut-out of Ragna in the shop back when she was with Lat 64.

Happy she has found happiness outside of DG.

Kalamazoo is a nice small college town, good place to raise a family/affordable and lots of disc golf courses in the area. Big enough that there are plenty of jobs and things to do but still a small town feel where the locals all know each other.

We love it here! Larry LaBond has made it an amazing Disc Golf scene. 260,000 people in the county and 7 or 8 great courses within a 25-minute drive of me. It's almost never crowded on the course, but a vibrant scene at the same time.

The local economy is very diverse for a Michigan town, too. We have our toes in lots of sectors so economic downturns aren't as punishing.

So long as you don't mind a little snow, it's a great place to live.
