I am not wealthy by any means, I live comfortably, well below the poverty line. My key is the lack of "bills" to any degree. I'm lucky to work for organizations ~6 months a year that provide me with room and board along with a steady paycheck. For 6 months, typically April-October I bank $$. That leaves me 6 months to do whatever... which the last 3 years has been remain in a constant state of disc golf.

I envy you.

Thanks. Anybody can live this lifestyle, 99.999% choose other priorities. Not saying it's wrong to put family/women/money/job/friends/familiarity first, I understand that lifestyle. But to those that say "Oh I wish I could do something like that" if you truly wish it, all you have to do is do it. Sell everything, move into a van, earn $$ as needed and do it.

I could continue adding Honorable Mentions to the list all day long... and same as Mash, if you asked me on a different day, I'd come up with a different list.

I've only played 63 courses, but I was lucky enough to travel around the US (Mostly west coast) a bit last year and hit up some excellent courses. Add those to the ones I get to play here in the Cincy/Dayton/Lexington/Indianapolis area and it's a nice little list. Which reminds me, I still need to play what Louisville has to offer...

Nice! You're the first person to make a list comprised entirely of courses I have not played. I've got my work cut out for me this summer. :)

ps. The abbreviation for Missouri is MO ;)

1. Delaveaga, Santa Cruz, CA
2. Hornings Hideout - Canyon Course, Portland, OR
3. Hornings Hideout - Meadow Ridge, Portland, OR
4. Discwood, Kirkwood, CA
5. WR Jackson, Appling, GA
6. Coyote Creek, Lake Casitas, CA
7. Hornet's Nest, Charlotte, NC
8. Beaver Ranch, Conifer, CO
9. Whistlers Bend, Roseburg, OR
10. Zephyr Cove, Zephyr Cove, NV

Current favorites: these are always evolving, but for now this is pretty accurate (off the top of my head)
Flyboy: Whitesburg, GA
Thornfield: Spring Hill(?), KS
N. GA Canopy Tours: Lula, GA
Ghost town: Russell Gulch, CO
Waterworks: Kansas City, MO
Rosedale (down under): Kansas City, KS(?)
Cliff Drive: Kansas City, MO
Sandy Creek: Athens, GA
Peter Pan DGC: Emporia, KS
Indian Creek: Rutledge, GA

I had a hard time deciding "tops" for some reason…
The first three or four are rather certain but it could go any order after that:

Idlewild – Burlington KY
Flyboy Aviation – Whitesburg GA
Holler in the Hills – Brownsville KY
WR Jackson Mem. – Appling GA
Lincoln Ridge – Independence KY
Severin Lang – Georgetown IN
Charlie Vettiner – Louisville KY
Steady Ed Mem. – Appling GA
Cedar Hill – Nashville TN
Jefferson Barracks – St Louis MO

It's a woman that keeps me from living on the road. I have a class A CDL... I'd never have to go home.

Leviathan, Ludington, MI. My favorite of the Mason Co courses, surrounded by great courses.
Flyboy, Whitesburg, GA. Great.
Steady Ed Memorial, Appling, GA. The most scenic and fun of 3 great challenging courses at the IDGC.
Renaissance, Charlotte, NC. In a city full of great golf, this course stands out the most.
Brakewell Steel, Warwick, NY. 4 playable layouts, sister course on site.
Maple Hill, Leister, MA, 4 playable scenic layouts
Highbridge ______, Highbridge, WI. Fill in the blank, I could create half of my top 10 list at this complex alone. Blueberry is great all around golf. Granite is an awesome challenge. Bear is sick! And Gold will send you home crying, for good reasons.
Mont du Lac - White Cedar, Superior, WI. Another great complex, a beautiful challenge.
Hornings Hideout, North Plains, OR. Again I didn't mention a particular course, the Canyon course is great fun, but the meadow course is what makes it worthy of the list.
Idlewild, Burlington, KY.

Honorable Mentions.
Patterson Lake, Dickinson, ND.
The Lodge, Pawhuska, OK.
Sugaree, Linville, NC.
Hornets Nest/The Web, Charlotte, NC.
Nevin, Charlotte, NC.
Stoney Hill, Newburry, SC.
Blue Angel Complex, Palmetto, FL.
Shawshank, Huntsville, TX.
Circle R complex, Wimberly, TX.
Horseshoe Canyon Ranch, Jasper, AR. This one got me started.
Hummel, Omaha, NE.
Justin Trails, Sparta, WI
Winter Park, Kewaunee, WI.
Diamond X, Billings, MT.
Bohart Ranch, Bozeman, MT.
Base Camp, Moab, UT.
Holler in the Hills, Brownsville, KY.
Paw Paw Complex, WV.
Nockamixon, Quakertown, PA
French Creek, Elverson, PA
Moraine, Portersville, PA
Deer Lakes, Tarentum, PA
Iron Hill, Newark, DE

That was not easy, nor am I completely satisfied with what I've come up with. It'll do.

I see a lot of courses on there that I strongly considered putting on my own list, it's not at all easy to differentiate between a bunch of very good courses.

Ummm... In <kinda> order:

Deer Lakes, PA
Phantom Falls, CO
Idlewild, KY
Parma, NY
Beaver Ranch, CO
Shore Winds, NY
Ghost Town, CO
Beaver Meadows, CO
Chili, NY
Waterworks, KS
Moraine, PA

I haven't played a ton, but I've got some heavy hitters in there. Interestingly, I would put a lot of the Rochester, NY courses near the top. I'm biased because I lived there, but they have some great SOLID World Championship courses.

Honeral mention to Basil Marella in Rochester, NY. Brutal accuracy test.

Rochester is a VERY overlooked disc golf destination, IMO.
