Other Thoughts:
I was visiting from out of town for a wedding and I stopped by this park before heading back home. I chose this course because it seemed fairly beginner friendly, and I had my wife with me who was playing for her first time.
We both had a lot of fun on this course and with the majority of the holes being pretty open, my wife was able to have fun despite not knowing what she was doing. I would say that this course is beginner friendly, but a few of the holes offer different shots that will challenge any intermediate/advanced player as well. Challenging holes include tight/low ceiling wooded shots, straight on shots but with trees in the way, a creek in the middle of a fairway, a pond on the side of a fairway, fence rows, and more. The course is fairly flat for the most part, so those who don't like hiking up and down steep hills will enjoy that.
I like how well maintained this course is. The grass was freshly cut and well maintained. Tee pads all had nice signs at them (unfortunately, they are not concrete). There were a few benches throughout the park. There were arrows on the bottom of each basket pointing you towards the next tee box. For being a newer course, they've put a lot of work into this park to make it enjoyable for everyone.
