Great course with surprising amount of hills 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 23, 2008 Played the course:never

Pros:

Course itself is 18 holes, most very fun. Surprising amount of steep hills for southeast Michigan - you'll be throwing uphill and downhill at times. Course includes warm-up hole and nice clubhouse with bathroom.

Everything is well-marked - if you are ever confused, look for a 4x4 post near the basket - it usually has an arrow to the next hole. Tees are in great shape, and clear about distances and directions. Everything's in great shape - no vandalism.

The holes are really fun. There's a great mix of wide open blasts with a lot of precision throws through tunnels of trees.

No water holes, and very little swampiness.

Cons:

There's a $4 car fee, but most of the times I've come no one has been in the guard house, so it's been free.

A couple of holes are blind, so unless you've played the course before, it's hard to know where to throw.

Other Thoughts:

Start at the far end of the parking lot - away from the clubhouse.

Bring bug spray.

play it 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 20, 2007 Played the course:never

Pros:

Elevation changes and hole placement are awesome. They used each area of the course perfectly. The baskets are in good shape and, if you're playing it for the first time, it's easy to find your way around. Challenges a lot of different shots and sets up well for a player with finesse. Plenty of parking.

Cons:

Not many problems with this course except the price tag. Eight bucks is a lot to play a course but it's all day and it's worth it.
