Pros:
-You've got the option to throw several different types of shots on each hole.
-Although in a park, the park is not too crowded.
-Great for beginners.
-Great use of available space.
-Decent amount of distance on some of the holes.
-The big magnolia tree on holes #2 and #10 is the only place you could possibly lose a disc.
Cons:
-Sand tees collect water when it rains.
-Road noise and children screaming at the park can be distracting.
-You throw directly at a street on holes #7 and #16.
-Only 9 pins, kind of repetitive
-Baskets are wobbly which may affect your putt although it has yet to happen to me.
Other Thoughts:
Overall I think this course is great considering how close to home it is. Definitely not a wishlist course, but if you've got someone you're trying to introduce to the sport then this is a great place to take them. The FireCracker in Ft. Inn is also close, and while more challenging overall it lacks the distance of Simpsonville. This is where I learned the sport, so it will always have a place in my heart reserved for it no matter how many other courses I play.
