    South Philadelphia Course Recommendations

Looks like I'm off to brandywine this morning, thanks for the help guys! What a wonderful DG community you guys must have here!!! Maybe I'll peak at iron hill or just walk the course, those woods look so beautiful. Cheers!

    South Philadelphia Course Recommendations

Thank you guys so much for all of the suggestions and tips! If we start our day at sledgley, is there a limit on time parked? Could we park, grab breakfast in the city (reading market) then head back to play disc golf before going to another course outside of the city? Maybe sledgley in the...

    South Philadelphia Course Recommendations

Hello, My wife and I will be just south of Philadelphia and looking to throw a round on Tuesday. I was hoping that you guys could recommend a good course. We are definitely rec level players, and would hope to find a nice relaxing course that is hopefully very scenic. I have done some...

    [Drivers] Disc Recommendation

It is a champ sidewinder. Viking was my first thought, but I actually like the idea of a teebird too. I like the idea of introducing her to other manufacturers too, so that lucid breakout could be a good option (and my local store does the dynamic buyback thing, so if its a no go, i'll just...

    [Drivers] Disc Recommendation

My wife throws a 167 sidewinder that she has started turning over, so I'd like to add another disc to her bag. What would be a good disc, just a tad more stable than a sidewinder?

Forehand Technique: control 300' in the woods

My forehand is absolutely atrocious, so I would also be interested in any good videos that people can link specific to forehand. Thanks!

    Best all weather target

I am looking to pick up a target (basket) in the next couple of months. I want one that I can just leave outside year round and not have to worry about. Price is not my primary concern. Though, that being said obviously i'm not looking to waste money either. Also not looking to spend $500.00...

    Lincoln ridge Park, Independence KY

I played there Tuesday. There were some muddy spots (hole 8 in particular was pretty nasty), but overall it was pretty good. I only did the front half as I was running out of daylight. The back half goes down a very large and steep hill to a creek (as mentioned above it is possible to skip...

    Nice, Thanks!

    Disc Golf Subscription Box

I see all of these monthly subscription box services, where you pay 15-20 bucks per month and get a box of goodies each month in return. My wife has one for makeup, but is there a disc golf one? If not, someone please get on that! 20 bucks per month gets you a disc of varying brands, and...

Kansas City for a First Timer

I was successful in getting my wife (girlfriend at the time) to love disc golf a few years ago. I learned a few lessons along the way that I will try to impart with you. These are in no way laws, just my own experience, your mileage may vary. 1. Don't try to get her using perfect form right...

    [Vibram] Please recommend a disc

Ya, that definitely sounds too understable. Thanks for the heads up. I'll be picking up a lace soon!

    [Vibram] Please recommend a disc

Thanks for the help! How understable is the un-lace? I'd be willing to try it out, but I have trouble finding an understable disc that isn't super hot/cold for me.

    [Vibram] Please recommend a disc

Hello all, I REALLY want to try a vibram driver this year, but I'm not sure which to try. Just for comparison sake, my go to driver is a pro wraith, I could handle either slightly more or less stability though. I was thinking the Lace would be similar, but I've never threw any of their discs...

    great budget or beginner gear

I was really disappointed with mine. By the end of 1 season it was falling apart. Torn seams on the shoulder straps, water bottle holders were starting to rip. Poor quality overall. I got a dynamic disc soldier bag with back straps for christmas and it feels MUCH more sturdy.
