My 3 tour series Lunas arrived Friday but due to the tropical storm, I didn't get out to throw them.
All 3 a little different in how they turned out - clear one is gummy and flatter, red one is stiff with a bit of some, and yellow is right in the middle. All are labeled 173-174 so I can't wait...
P1's are the "classic grid" Aviars and the top is different from the PnA. If p1's become popular and more produced I would switch back to them since the d-line plastic just has a better feel than dx in my opinion.
They seem to be slowly doing more echostar runs now at least. I still have old echostar terns so doesn't look like glow champs are worth it to me if they're more stable.
Echo* 2019 Amateur Champs
Anyone familiar with this 2019 run of echo star destroyers with the amateur championships stamp? It's really flat just like the new echo dd3s.
Roc - never felt right in my hand.
Judge / Warden - I'm not a DD hater because I do enjoy the Marshal but I just can't get a clean release with neither the Judge or the Warden.
Comet - the weird bead didn't bother me but I can get similar flights on other discs that aren't so touchy for me...
Did you ever throw the echo star tern? If so, how does it compare to the glow?
Echo star tern is still the best tailwind disc I've ever owned and I've had some shrykes that were close but not quite as long and definitely not as comfortable for a backhand grip.
Discmania's Royal Rage has this same exact 'feature' and I guess prodigy copied whatever it is but I don't know why anyone would want a disc that has the potential to basically cause a 'paper cut' - especially when you aren't expecting that sharpness when you first grip the disc.
Halo Destroyers
Found this destroyer at an academy sports the other day and thought it looked cool and then realized it's almost like a proto Halo destroyer 😁
I think it shows they stand behind the disc so much they want it as a signature. Signature discs should be a disc the pro actually uses and not a marketing design - example: Simon Lizzotte signature Method, however he doesn't appear to bag or throw this disc except when it was promoted during...
I don't throw Wraiths but I did have a couple of her Thunderbirds from the previous year which were awesome, so I'm hoping for maybe a swirly or splatter star plastic because she mentioned she hadn't decided which plastic at that time.
And if anyone ever has a chance to attend a clinic with her...
*TL3
I had the pleasure of attending a clinic by Madison Walker and Calvin Heimburg a few weeks ago and my free disc choice ended up being a Star TL3 after Madison recommend it. Super happy that I did because I love this disc for the woods! She even mentioned it was going to be her tour series...
Just so there's no confusion, there is only one autism disorder and that's why the word spectrum was added.
With that said, I was diagnosed as being on the spectrum in my 30s and based on what I've learned from my own behaviors and counselling, I have also suspected that Ricky was on the...
