I guess i'm not sure how to do this in google earth. I did find MyCaddie Pro which is a free app, it has maps of a lot of golf courses but the cool part is that you can map your own local courses with google earth on your home computer/laptop so I added my local disc golf course and the next...
Does anyone know of a good app for ranging the distance of your throw? I'm not talking about using it to see how far I am from the pin, I just want to have a quick estimate of how far I threw my disc.
I've had a bad experience with local league players. My group came up to a hard dogleg left and we couldn't see or hear anybody on the hole so I went ahead and threw. After I threw we heard some shouting, my disc had landed about 15 feet from a group of players by the basket. I went up and...
I found one about two weeks ago, number was barely readable but I called it and returned it.
My question is, is it rude for the person who lost the disc to just tell you to drop it off to them instead of volunteering to come pick it up? I'm thinking that yeah it is kinda rude.

Not crazy about it
Lots of cool scenery, bridges over small streams, etc
Shooting over water is cool but not being able to go in after your disc sucks.
No signs
Confusing layout(print the map, you're gonna need it)
Poor drainage, lots of mud and water on some holes
Way too tight on almost...
I've only had griplock problems with two of my discs, a pro d cyclone and a pro d buzzz. I wonder if that grippy pro d plastic has something to do with it.
I've been playing disc golf on and off since the late 90's. Just about a month ago I started getting back into it and now I'm addicted. I've been playing about 3 to 4 times a week now and buying discs randomly to try to help myself get better. Now i'm trying to work on my throws and...
We've got a hole on a local course that requires you to shoot over a pond. There is an alternate teepad but thats for babies and people like me who can't drive for ****.
This is hole #3 on Tittabawassee Trails in Freeland, MI.
No swimming allowed. Its not very wide across but its far enough...
Love my mako, its a 162. Flies nice and straight with just a tiny bit of s curve to it. Can't comment on the buzzz, just bought one a few days ago and I haven't gotten to use it much.
I find myself putting quite a bit with my mako.

Muddy but fun.
Very clean with good signs and tee pads
Not a lot of traffic, no waiting to throw
No real thick brush to eat your discs
Lots of variety requiring well placed hyzer and anhyzer shots.
A lot of water. One hole, i'm pretty sure it was #3 , had it's tee pad completely surrounded by...
