    ABQ

I'm headed to ABQ for the weekend tomorrow, packing my discs with me. Any suggestions of which course(s) I should attempt to hit? I'm probably only going to get to 1 course on Friday morning.

    "UNOFFICAL" Disc Golf Lingo

When it hits a tree and goes WAY off the course... or when a tree kills your shot... TreeDragon. And a shot that lands and starts rolling but in the right direction... Bonus Roll!

    Selah Ranch

I had a great time, unforntunately we didn't finish Lakeside due to time constraints I had. We missed holes 16-18, but we did drive them on the carts to see how they looked. It was so much fun and I can't wait to go back there. There is a few small water crossings/mud to deal with after the...

    Selah Ranch

I'm headed out there for my b-day party tomorrow, got 5 of us going to throw, almost all beginners, so we'll see how many disc the water monsters get. I'm excited to go play, been wanting to go to Selah Ranch since I heard about it last summer. I just hope mr no-shoulders doesn't come visiting...

Mud Run - through our course!

I would bring up the soil erosion issue, unless they plan to re-sod after the mud run, those areas are going to be washed out pretty good. There are building codes all over the place required for keep soil erosion to a minimum, perhaps that might help you some?

    Disc Golf... at Night

Well testing a smaller 1oz or 2oz is a lot cheaper, the powder coating is probably better because of the abuse from discs. I was thinking a private course or just someone's yard course with a couple baskets might be more in this realm. Obviously no city parks departments are going to want to pay...

    Disc Golf... at Night

Yes, I saw that, probably start with a much smaller amount, 1-2oz and paint and just try the pole and basket. I found some people who will powder coat, but I'm sure it's outrageously expensive.

    How far is enough?

Harry Myers in Rockwall, TX has a 888' hole 17 from the blue tees.

    DFW disc golf

Oh I wasn't planning on playing all 5 courses in one day. I was thinking hitting The Roc and probably one or two rounds at Lindsey. We love our little Saturday road trips, usually going to Athens, then Canton for a couple rounds and it works out nicely. Figured we'd try Tyler soon.

    DFW disc golf

My buddy and I have been dying to check out Tyler, they have 5 courses (one park has 3 courses alone), so we might make a day of it.

    Disc Golf... at Night

Here is a video of my brother and I with what we currently use, just a LED tap light upside down on a basket. Sorry a little grainy, my phone camera isn't great at night. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6aXrhwgTt68
