Discraft Underground?

I get that Discraft gets a lot of grassroots promotion from the Underground, but what's in it for the players? Like, why should I apply besides the fact that it is cool to say you are on a team?

I get that Discraft gets a lot of grassroots promotion from the Underground, but what's in it for the players? Like, why should I apply besides the fact that it is cool to say you are on a team?

For a lot of people, being able to say they are on a team is nearly enough...

But mostly you will get free products, and hopefully "grow the sport". The fact that they are adding kids is super cool. If you are serious about disc golf, but not at an appropriate skill level or age to be a Pro, teams like this are a foot in the door with a potential sponsor, especially if you are good social media, involved in events, etc etc.

(FWIW, I have no affiliation with Discraft, and the only disc I bag from them is the Buzz.)
