Funniest/weirdest thing you've seen on the course

Saw a male Anatomy piñata complete with hair hanging over tee box on brand new hole at my home course. It has since moved buy was pretty trippy the first time I saw it. Crazy people in yewtaw

At my local course (Basil Marella Park Greece,NY one of the courses that will proudly be home of the 2011 World Ams!!!) I spotted a dead dear carcass halfway up the fairway on hole 6, it stayed there for around 3 weeks until removed. Also, about a week later someone decided to donate a Rooster to Basil Marella by releasing it into the woods on hole 1 and leaving a large trail of chicken feed around the first tee pad. The Rooster lasted about 3 days before I stood and watched a group of people chasing it through the woods with a blanket until it was captured. Lastly, was again playing Basil, me an 2 friends were on hole 17 which plays over a creek with the basket on the side of a hill when there was a sudden cracking noise. We thought it was someone hitting a tree, which is pretty typical back there, when out of nowhere a 60/70 ft. tree came crashing down not 20 ft from where we were standing. Those are my discing exploits in a nutshell.

things got crazier just a week later when a lady was sitting with no pants at basket one ... I'm glad I missed it but the looks on your faces were priceless

The strangest thing that ever happened to me on a courese was at Dankwardt park in Burlington IA. My son was teeing off on hole 11 when we heard a loud crash. As we turned we saw a deer flying at us. It landed just feet from the t-box as the wrecked Lincoln came to stop. the poor little deer was looking at us be fore it died. It was very hard to drive after that so we quit at that time.

She was looking for the pinata.

^ hahahaha probably

that pinata looked like it was rigged with some sort of firework explosives as well

another reason for more courses too many weirdos showing up to the most popular one!

That's just the Exploding Wang CTP prize. Whoever gets closest sets off the fireworks and gets rained with candy.

This wasn't a course, but it was my practice field, which I go to at least once a week, and I had never seen this before.

I practice in a vacant lot between the local library and the Civic Center. On the right side of the library is a pretty good sized retention pond, to collect all the rain water from the huge parking lot at the Civic Center.

I have to drive around the Civic Center to get to the back side where the vacant lot is, and drive right next to the retention pond. As I did, I notice what looked to be 6 or seven things that at first looked like beavers. I had to do a double take, because I wasn't sure what I was looking at. I thought to myself "What the hell is that?" as I drove by and stared. Never seen that before. I got home and looked up Texas Rodents, and turns out they were Muskrats.

The article did say they hang out near drainage ditches or anywhere they have a food source. The 3 years I have gone there to practice, I had never seen them there before. Here is a pic:

Strangest Thing Found At Course

I was walking along today at my home course and happened to find $10. It got me thinking of all the stuff we have found on the course ; cell phones, discs, basketballs, porn mags, etc.

It got me wondering what's the strangest thing anyone has ever found on a course? I know there is a thread for seeing strange things, this one is for finding strange things. If you have ever found anything weird on your course, please post it here.

In keeping with the disgusting dead animal theme, my son and I came across the head of a squirrel sitting right at the basket today. No body, just the head.

For one summer, there was a bowling ball wrapped up in packaging at hole 1 at McCulloch Park in Muncie. Eventually, the packaging came off, but the bowling ball remained.

Tocobaga hole 16 used to have a dummy dressed up in clothes partially hidden in the bushes as you walked down a tight path in the woods. The first few times it made me jump thinking someone was standing right there as I came around the corner.

years ago, i was sitting at the alternate tee for #5 at tom pearce park,a car pulled up and a man and woman got out, walked across the fairway and then started having sex, about 1-1.5 minuts later they got back into the car and left
i made sure to throw well past that area

a $5 bill, and a few $1's
3 glass pieces all together,1 was full
a 5/8 open end wrench
leatherman
porn mags
cell phone
golf balls
