I wasn't filming the lead group Jussi Meresmaa being the TD assigned me to ladies lead group. lcgm8 from youtube and Finnish broadcasting corporation YLE personnel filmed the lead group and if you look up lcgm8 on youtube he has a lot of footage from the final day uploaded on youtube. I'm not sure how many throws I got of Simon but there were a few. OTOH he's a minor and legal issues make me wary of posting them.

I'm glad Finnish legal system ain't American but I've heard that you can't post pics and vids of minors without the consent of the parents. There's also a law that allows sports event organizers to publish footage of the competitors but I think the protection laws are prioritized. OTOH there are people in the background being in a public place during a public event and that's again allowed. Not being a lawyer who knows how things go? I just don't wanna take risks if I don't have to.

I wish I had asked Simon of his permission to publish. If I was officially a staff member making a DVD then there'd be no legal risk but I was only film staff. Lawyers suck black aces. Much of what they do is perversion of reality and sucks in the way you see from this example. Common sense says to just put up the vids dammit. What a load of crock the lawyers and legislators have made and even worse are the assholes that have made the things for which the poorly made laws were made to curtail. Sigh people are too dumb on average and politicians especially. Lawyers don't shine either. Smeg. Now I'm pissed off after thinking of this.

Rehder you're right. I was just going to sleep and my head wasn't screwed on right any more. lcgm8 filmed the next to lead pool on the final day and YLE crew got the lead pool. Jussi assigned lcgm8 to that pool. We couldn't really pick our choices on the final day because the competition was so hot in so many pools and there weren't that many videographers available so the TD decided who filmed what. I don't know when the YLE piece is broadcast on Finnish TV. Because it will come out on TV it should become available. I think there's a chance YLE might put it to their net TV for a limited time so that you guys can see it. I'll try to see when it comes out and internet availability so that I can post the link.
