I've played sporadically over the past few years but never really dug my heals in. At any rate, glad to have discovered that I enjoy the game more with every ricochet off of a tree.

Welcome my friend! I actually used to live right outside of Reading, so not to far away from Pennsburg. There's lots of amazing courses in that area, a great place to grow into the sport!
