Hi I'm looking for some help or info on my rhbh driving form. I've been playing for a little over a year and can throw 450 pretty easily and can get over 500 on good pulls. I uploaded then from my phone so I couldn't do slow mo or add all the throws together so for now they are one at a time. When I get a chance I will post about ten from different angles and some slow mo. Thanks for any help and info in advance!

I can't break down youtube vids like a lot of people, but it looks like you plant your rear foot to open, and can't drive onto your front side.

When you say rear foot too open do you mean my left foot on the step before my plant step? And do you mean getting my weight into the throw? For some reason the videos you posted won't work for me they say something went wrong

I just embedded your videos. Someone will have some better advice for you. Yes, your left foot (pointed too rearward). And it looks like your toes might come up first (can't tell, youtube doesn't like me/won't let me go frame by frame). If that's the case, you're losing push from the best part of your foot.

Ok I get what you're saying thanks for the help I'll try to work on it the next chance I get

Yep, your footwork is very long and losing torque from the rear foot/instep as you push off your heel instead. You also reachback early. Watch how JohnE keeps his footwork more compact and lighter and stays more on the rear toes/inside. He strides his front leg forward more closed, you kind of twist your leg around.

Ok thanks a lot I can see everything you talked about. Will work on it and get some more footage. Would some videos from the back help along with being able to see the distance and flight of the discs as well

Rear view is helpful. Not necessarily for the disc flight, but for posture/balance issues, and "down the line" type issues.

Looks like you don't get a lot of leg drive to transfer through your hips. I focus on "pushing" myself through my plant leg. It's more of a forward motion than a spin, you will rotate naturally. Focus on some 50% upshots with no run-up and work your way up until your're throwing about 80-90% without a runup. It forces you (or at least it does me) to get more leg drive and I can get a lot more distance with less effort.

I'd also be interested to see what your form looks like if your approach slowed down a bit and you weren't moving so fast before you start your throw

The thing that stuck out the most to me is that you're not reaching back much.. and youre doing it a bit early like sidewinder said
