Fun while muddy 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Apr 11, 2022 Played the course:once

Pros:

Well laid out course, well use of park. Not too difficult for beginners, few holes help beginners pick a line for "teeing" off. Great course for all levels.

Cons:

Few minor cons:

Baskets should be brightly colored. Fairways will get muddy after rain or snow melt.

Nice Improvements, Always a Fun Round to Play 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 15, 2016 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

- New concrete tee pads
- Nice pins
- Fun course design (offers a little bit of everything)

Cons:

- Depending on when you play the course can be muddy in areas (this course plays best after a few days of dry weather if there's any measurable amount of rain beforehand)
- Grass and fairways could be better maintained on a more regular basis, but not to the extent of a complaint

Other Thoughts:

All in all, this is a fun course to play. Offers a good mix of short and long holes, plenty of ace opportunities, all while testing a good mix of throws. It's certainly not a "tournament grade" course, but nonetheless is always a good time to play.

Nice course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Dec 26, 2014 Played the course:once

Pros:

Well maintained fairways
Rubber matting under the baskets for when it gets viciously wet
Easy to navigate
Good signage
Enough trash cans
Plenty of parking

Cons:

Not all of the holes are challenging. Hole #1 is 225' straight ahead. It happens on a few holes. This is just a personal preference thing.
This course holds some water when it rains. Just wear crappy boots/shoes...

Other Thoughts:

I enjoyed the course, and it is definitely an option when I come to the Milwaukee area. Holes 8-11 had a good distance, and added to the challenge. Hole 11 is 500'+, then you go to 12, and it's less than 200'. Just an odd assortment of varying hole range, but not enough of a complaint to keep me away. My 2 yr old son walked almost the entire course, so that is always a plus.

Abendshcein Park Review 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Nov 23, 2014 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Very well maintained. Nice course layout.

Cons:

Usually very busy, I try to go early in the mornings to avoid a crowd. Most holes are wide open, not making it very challenging.

Other Thoughts:

I play this course a lot and look at it as a practice course where I practice all different kinds of shots as most holes are short and fairly wide open.
