it's a lotta walking which i like, only played 12 holes because i had just played nine at another course
it's good for beginners like me,some fairways through
trees, probably would not loose a disc there, i almost did in a wooded area. just make sure you use bright color discs

grass was high, some real wet muddy areas, flat
could use an update
first time so i had trouble locating the tees
was another guy just in front of me that showed me the way, this nice guy did mention to me that he was approached by someone in the back part of the course, he was able to persuade that person approaching to stay away
be careful, watch who is around at all times

i'm going to go back when it gets cooler

+new dual tees for each hole add variety
+full 18 holes (which is more than most of the courses close in proximity to me in this area)
+the wide open holes try to make up for the lack of obstacle by having relatively long distances
+other than disc-ers the park is almost always close to empty so you dont have to worry about other people getting in the way too often

-very easy to confuse what tee and hole to play next - I spent quite a bit of time figuring out how the course worked the first time i was there
-few obstacles
-the park itself isnt that well taken care of and there are several large low spots that get muddy after a rain

I keep playing this course so I guess it is good enough to keep me coming back but mainly just because it has a full 18 and is closer than other nicer courses. plus, its fun to be able to practice my drives and try out new discs here due to its lack of obstacles.

I now work in this area so I'm out playing this course more often now. Moffitt is a decent 18 hole course that makes good use of the park's trees and landscaping. It is the tightest 18 hole course I've played and that makes it challenging.

The baskets are often too close together so if your drives aren't straight you will end up on another fairway or green. I've heard 600 people play this course a week and I can believe it. Often this course is packed with people after work and you're either rushed by the people behind you or waiting on the group in front. Plus, with that much traffic,, the grass is non-existent on many fairways and the Tee boxes can be downright dangerous.

On hoo-boy this course is flat.

This course needs some TLC from the city. It needs new Tee boxes and better signage.

I played the course at 5:00pm on a Saturday and it was not very busy at all. The baskets are all out in the open and open fairways allow you just to grip and rip on drives. Some of the advanced tee boxes force you to take an accurate shot through narrow lanes. The "A" box at 16 also provide a cool high hyzer shot over fairly tall trees. The "A" boxes are marked with a BROWN post sticking out of the ground and "B" boxes are marked with a green post sticking out of the ground. A good mix of short (<300 ) and long (300 +) holes, but nothing over 400.

The "A" box and "B" box colors of 11 are the opposite colors from the rest of the course. The "A" box for 17 is back in the woods and can be found if you follow the small foot path directly behind the "B" box. In middle section of the course (holes 7-14) there are a lot of parallel fairways that may create a lot of opportunities to hit people for those of us who are less accurate with our throws.

Overall a good course for anyone who likes playing the game.

This course is located on the westside of Houston in a flat park with clumps of trees scattered throughout the course. It is located by basketballs courts with several kids around usually playing pick-up games. The course has multiple tee pads and signs (green and red) for regualr and alt shots. The course is fairly wide open for the most part with the back getting longer and more technical. The course can be challenging at times but is fairly easy as a whole. It provides a lot of opportunities for long accurate drives and tight technical upshots. The course provides several birdie chances but if not careful bogies.

The poor drainage and length of grass can be a problem at times. Vandalism to the local park and garbage can be seen even though the park and rec does an amazing job providing garbage cans around the course.

Agnes Moffitt Park DG course is a great course for a quick round or for beginners. It is laid back and allows for players of all skills to not lose discs. The course is great for families, where you can have a BBQ or picnic, relax, and play a round.

Nice variety of fairly interesting holes, all with alternate tees. Convenient location close to west side of town makes it easy to get to. Patches of thick woods, scattered trees, and open areas mindle well for a variety of holes and challenges. really fun course for a laid-back game. More variety than Macgregor, though almost as happy (discs don't get eaten by the course). In dry conditions, this is the course to go to for a chill game.

Benches on several holes are perfect for taking a break shooting the breeze.

Tends to get really soggy, and stay that way for awhile. When its dry, it would be great, fun, laid back.

Like most Houston Courses, Moffitt is very flat, so if you are looking for hills, look elsewhere.

The best course for a recreational, laid back game without fear of losing your discs. challenging at points without being difficult or overly technical

Main (green) and Alt (red) tees are well marked with painted wooden posts. Signs specifically restricting picnicers and pedestrians keep the course less cluttered for golfers. Well defined tee boxes. Baskets in good condition. Concrete tees installed in 2012 make this course much more playable.

Course navigation can be a challenge for newcomers with out a map. Nothing too bad, but flow from one hole to the next isn't always obvious. Course does not drain exceptionally well after heavy rain. Puddles and pool are common in the Winter.

Ample parking. Not the most challenging course, but a very good one for those learning to play as there are not many opportunities to lose a disc. This is probably the most popular/played course in the Houston area. There's a well attended league run by www.HFDS.org

Open course with holes nicely positioned around and through trees. The park is clean and the other players were helpful navigating holes.

The course has a lot of standing water right now so you were always fishing good throws out of very large puddles. Hard to find the next tee box and understand the next basket you should be playing to.

Overall, I liked the course and would like it even more if it was dryer. Worth the trip after the course dries out.
