Nice variety, kind of a mix between several of the other local courses. It has medium wooded, pretty heavily wooded, and some wide open grassy. The park itself (part maintained by park staff), lawns, benches, tables, etc- is very well kept. There's good use of elevation and the creek and pond add a nice element to the course.

About 1/2 the maps on the tee signs are either completely gone or they are damaged to the point where they are of no help whatsoever. To add to the problem, about 1/2 of the number plates on the baskets are completely broken off! Don't get me wrong, the HOLE layout itself is actually pretty cool, I think they all played pretty fair, but were still interesting. The problem is the COURSE layout (getting from hole to hole). You have to get help from a local to figure out where the heck you're supposed to even go! If all the signage was repaired, it would be just fine- but in its current condition you find yourself walking back and forth trying to figure out where you're supposed to go next- when you really would rather be playing disc golf. The flow from one hole to the next is really counter intuitive, the next hole is NOT the closest hole multiple times throughout the course, and between the tee signs not always having even the NUMBERS and the baskets also missing the numbers, it can be a bit difficult! I think the biggest point to make is that compared to all of the other local courses, this one is the most run down.

I would've given it a score of 4 if it weren't for all these issues, but I feel that it can't be ignored. The reason for these reviews is to give people who have never played it before a somewhat accurate idea of what to expect, I just read the current conditions before I wend and I was caught off guard.
