Pros:

- The layout and general design of Camp Olympic was derived from a cache of etched Lenape jasper tablets found on site.

- The course plays underneath the overpass of I476, and as a result, there are always new "turnpike treasures" laying about in the vicinity. If you collect hubcaps and random pieces of metal, you'll love this part.

- The course truly utilizes the entire park property, which is vast. It is fair to say that the holes get progressively challenging throughout the course. This is a great dynamic, as it allows new players and families with young kids to comfortably play 1-6, yet still offer a heck of a lot of specific challenges later in the course.

- Great course variation. Just about every type of hole you can think of is represented at Camp Olympic. While water hazards are in play on almost half of the holes, discs are easily retrieved from the fairly shallow streams.

- Easy to navigate if you are capable of printing / reading the attached course map, i.e. you have an IQ greater than 80.

Cons:

- This is a "walking course", and there are several baskets where the walk to the next tee is ~100 yards. While this isn't an issue for the majority of golfers who are not whiny cowards, it is worthy of note.

- Natural tees are usually in good shape, but can be a bit muddy after a rain. Those who maintain the course are actively involved in gaining permanent tees.

Other Thoughts:

Great addition to the outstanding course resume of the Greater Lehigh Valley Area, enhancing our reputation as a disc golf destination.
