Course is Now Officially Open 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 14, 2016 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

- Now that the course map is poster in the parking lot, the "next tee signs" are in, and the tee box signs are up, the course is good to go. It officially opened on October 1, so any reviews prior to that should be read carefully. This is a course with all kinds of potential
- Earlier the course was a bit nasty for beginners, with the risk of lost discs on a number of holes. But now that the yellow beginner tees are in, that has been completely addressed. Brilliant placements.
- The course is challenging because of all the trees, some of which appear to move after you throw. Strange.
- However, the course makes you work almost all of your shots, save perhaps the distance driver. Some great basket and tee box placement makes this course a good challenge for most players. The course will teach you what you need to work on. This is a fun course to play and to play again and again.

Cons:

- The course is still under development. The park was a mess, and the designers and community have done a ton of work to clean the course up. Amazing. But there is still work to be done. Some of the undergrowth is unsightly. Some of the brush still needs to be cleaned up. Garbage and glass appear with regularity (and then generally get cleaned up quickly).
- The course is in a rougher area of town, which can lead to some interesting interactions with the locals...many of whom are quite intrigued with the new game in town.
- Because of all the ground- and shrub-work, there are areas that can get quite muddy and slippery when it rains. Some of the paths will be a bit challenging as a result. Quality footwear is a must.

Other Thoughts:

It has been incredible to see the growth and development of the course...and interest in the game. The designers and support community are to be thanked for their steady committed work.

Course update 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Sep 23, 2018 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

17 out of 18 pads are in. The other 1 is great shape and will be updated in the soon.
Our parking lot course map, next tee signs and beautiful tee signs are all in! Have a look as each tee sign has a bit of history abut the park.
Only 4 alternate pins are installed but be assured new ones will be popping up with the spring flowers.

Cons:

Course plays great dry but add some rain or melt and some of those hills and paths get pretty slick. Good footwear a must!

Other Thoughts:

Looking forward to giving this course a good polish over the next year!
