- No tee signs
- First 6 holes feel repetitive. Open flat shots with scattered trees. The only difference with a lot of these is the length of the holes
- Ground gets very soggy on 6 and 7
- 7 throws across the walking path.
- Threat of street on 3, 4, 5
- 85th Ave is a very busy street and this course is not too far from the police station and fire dept. Traffic and sirens can be distracting
- This park has a lot of forest, but it's not utilized at all
-Not much litter this time, but usually I'm able to fill a small bag with all the wrappers and stuff I pick up.

This is the closest course to my parent's house, so I've probably played it 100+ times over the years and every time I'm left just a little disappointed in it. This is the oldest course in Brooklyn Park.

-nice cement teepads with very large asphalt surrounds (previously marked for each hole but currently worn off)
-easy flow/navigation with a good mix of holes for what land is available from longer wooded shots to shorter open approaches
-hole 8 is a fun wide open 400'~ downhill shot worthy of a few drives for the "chubby" ace run
-beginner friendly while still enough to the course to make it fun for more advanced players specially trying to hit 2's or the possible ace runs on 1,3,6,8,9
-ample parking within multi-use park offering playground and other activities as well as pavilion/shelter for parties
-solid baskets with well groomed landscape and mature trees scattered throughout
-marked off practice basket area
-wood chips around baskets

-worn hole markings with no signs other than hole 1 which you could miss all together the first time being there are 2 parking lots and the disc golf starts within the shared golf course parking lot next door. (Park there if you don't want to walk to hole one or park in the main area and walk south to the tee past the first basket.)
-can have heavy pedestrian traffic and walkers along sidewalk that surrounds park
-first few holes run along busy roads but not really issue unless you threw some horrible hyzer slices
-can get flooded in some spots and baskets 7/8 can be removed or not playable in winter due to sledding from hill.

Nice "centrally" located family park with multi-uses and a solid disc course course for testing out your new disc or practicing different shots/consistency and putting on the practice basket. You could really improve your game playing here a lot and making a routine out of some holes/lines/angles due to really no punishing landings but for sure ideal lines to the basket/landing areas and a good chance to shape some lines as well as throw rollers being an all grass park. One of the better 9 hole courses in the area surrounded by them. this and eagles edge make for a good combo to work on your shots and discs.

Very wide open space, great for beginners learning to throw with more control. Great for anyone practicing roller shots, or basically anything you're not use to.

No tight fairways, nothing all too technical. It's an all right course for a quick 9 hole round.

There's only one place you might lose a disc.

There's a practice basket for putting, or "secret" basket 10.

Most shots are pretty straight.

Not a lot of difficulty. More advanced players will find this course boring.

Not many elevation changes. There's two shots based around a hill.

Nothing technical. The most technical shot really needed here would be a turnover driver.

The park is surrounded by busy roads.

Central park is a fine course, it's surrounded by some pretty busy streets, so a bad shot could make your disc end up right in the street, as I almost experienced today. Great for beginners, advanced players will find it to be nothing special whatsoever. Some great opportunities for big drives, but this whole course could easily be played with a midrange and a putter.

Central Park has a great course sign and a really nice practice basket with distance blocks every two feet. This is a relatively flat park except for the one sledding hill. There are scattered trees which provide the only obstacles. There are nice big trapazoid teepads with the hole # painted on them. The baskets are Mach III's in good condition. The park is clean and mostly litter/grafitti free EXCEPT for the parking lot near the golf course. Disc golfers are leaving a lot of their garbage behind here. Take it home or at least, carry it over and dispose of it. It makes us all look bad!

I thought the first seven holes were a little bland, basically just kinda long through the scattered trees. They are great for practicing your rollers though. Not much in the way of creativity. # 8 is the signature hole here. You tee off from the top of the sledding hill down 400' to an open basket and judging by all the signatures on the basket, there have been quite a few that have struck home. Sign your disc guys, not the basket! The course is long enough that the birdies are earned but open enough that it's hard to bogey any of them.

Lack of imagination with the design or maybe I should say, a lack of interesting terrain in which the designers had to work with. Either way, a less than awe-inspiring course.
You probably could add in the other park patrons but hey, it's their park too.

Yeah, Yawn, OK. I would quickly grow tired of playing this course but luckily you folks in the Twin Cities are blessed with a plethora (25 cent word) of nice courses so you can mix and match as the mood strikes. Consider yourselves very lucky indeed. Very few place in the country have this many courses/variety within such close proximity. Too bad you're covered in ice and snow half the year!

Some enjoyable holes, a couple long enough to make a 3 a decent score for most. Wind at your back on the middle third can play tricks on you just when you want to air it out for a 450' hole, it's usually steady. (yes, I'm calling wind a pro)

Nothing special here. Trees are too few to affect much. Straight shots, mostly. No tournaments are coming here. No real elevation change, you do throw down a hill once.

The last hole plays right into a bench that always seems to have someone sitting on it, and walkways. I'm just waiting to overthrow a drive and take grandma's head clean off.

#1 looks like it is set up to be a dogleg mando to the right following a row of bushes/small trees, but there are no signs, so you can just throw straight across the angle. Maybe just call it a mando to make it more interesting.

Nice park, now that they finally finished remodelling the whole thing. The 9 holes circle around the playground, so you can drop kids of many ages and still watch them while you play. Nice playground that kids seem to love. Good for parents that want to play a round without hassle.

- If you dont have much time to play and you want to squeeze in a quick 10.
- Good mix of shots for the limited space.
- Long (400+) and short holes
- A few holes play through mature trees.
- Nice large consistent cement tee pads
- Wind can be a factor
- A large playground for the other family members
- Other park goers seem to actually know whats going on and are courteous
- Nice tee signs
- Practice basket with distance from pin markings spiraling out.

- Alot of chucker population
- They have several events over the year and holes 7,8, & 9 are essentially unplayable. If you're not a local/townie you won't know about it.

I lived close by for a short while and would come here to get field practice and putting practice.
Hole 10 is from the dirt patch by the baseball benches to the practice basket.

Favorite Hole #5 - A 398' shot underneath large mature trees. No real optimal line to the basket withot working the disc hard. Essentially there is 3 main lines to take for RHBH. 1 is a roller. 2 is straight shot with a hard hook to the basket. 3 is a gentle turnover shot. The basket is protected by a tree in front of it and some pines that act as backstop behind it.

Good 9 hole layout, wraps around the park, most holes are about 400 feet, well maintained, wood chips around all the baskets, cement tees and nice baskets, each tee give you the hold number and distance. Great little practice basket set up, with blocks buried to give you distances to work on putting, made for a great game after a round to just relax with a friend.

Nothing really special, no major obstacles, there are trees, but not many, if you can throw a straight shot you're golden here as there is a straight path to all the holes. The teeboxes are aimed a bit off line on some of the holes, just feels a bit off that way.

Good multiuse park, last time there had a lot of kids running around, was just completely redone within the last couple years, and the layout is nice, not a bad experience, and on a side of town that doesn't have much in the way of courses. Not worth a special trip, but if you are in the area it isn't a bad course to play.
