Pros:
Inviting park that is generally empty and free of park goers. Nice signs at the tee pads. Hole 1, 2 and 4 were fun. Great course for the locals of the town of Cosmos to disc golf. There is a nice flower garden near one of the holes. 9 finishes right back at the car.
Cons:
Forced holes with lack of space. Hole 3 might be 100-130 feet with a near 90 degree turn through the woods. Throw a mini. Hole 6 is the longest hole that for plays over a sand volley ball court right where many would land on there way to the basket. Hole 7 is a straight flat 150 foot feeling hole with no challenge. Hole 8 is another short hole that is a soft blind hyzer. If you dont drop into the gap you might end up 10 feet from the pin with no look for a putt of any kind. Maybe 150 feet again?
Other Thoughts:
Some of the holes feel forced and are quite gimicky. Hole one is a poke and hope hole but finishes beautifully. Hole 2 is a nice challenge with the trees opening up to the lake. Hole 4 is a tough two with big trees guarding the basket. I would not drive to Cosmos again or go out of my way to play this course.
