Great course! 2+ years

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Jun 11, 2018 Played the course:once

Pros:

+ Beautiful wooded course
+ Nice layout requiring different shots
+ Water comes in to play a few times

Cons:

- Pin placement on 18 isn't really obvious. It's closer and much farther to the left than it appears on the signage. Find it before you throw.

Other Thoughts:

-The first few holes are shared with the beginner loop, and you might end up playing the wrong hole when you should be breaking away to the full loop.
- This is a great hardwood wooded course - it was a beautiful place to play on a late afternoon in June!

Tough yet enjoyable 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 6, 2012 Played the course:once

Pros:

Large teepads
Well marked course
Difficult
Has been continually becoming a better course
Has beginner course

Cons:

Difficult and can be frustrating but I see it as a challenge

Other Thoughts:

I have played this course for quite a while, even before it was finished. I enjoy the course and commend the hard work that has been put into it to make the course better. It has been widened in some areas and plays better than in its earlier years. I suggest that anyone who didn't like the course the first go round give it another try because it has become better.

Challenging and fun 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Jan 21, 2013 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

One of the best courses in the area that offers a separate course for both beginners and experts.

18-hole course challenges any skill level with a wide variety of shots for left-handed and right-handed throwers.

A lot of work went into the design and layout of this course.

Course is "beaten in" and more seasoned than when I first played here....the fairways and teepads are greatly improved.

Signage is top-notch!

Multiple teepads for beginners, average players, and tournament players.

Cons:

Only con is water that can be overwhelming on the course after extremely heavy rains.

Other Thoughts:

Excellent location with easy access from the Interstate.

Love the way water is used to border many landing areas and fairways.

Truly is a "creekside" course.
