I probably expected too much from this course. 4 stars my foot, it isn't even close to A Bill Allen, Town Lake, Lake Lewisville, z boaz. Or the Cedar Hill courses. That being said it is a nice little shaded course, average. The course itself could use some maintenance. The tee pads are short, the signs suck, and some of the holes could use some trimming.

Holes 1-4 are nice, super short, Full of tress with super tight windows. There is a small creek in play.

The rest of the holes are pretty forgettable except 15. It has an OB road to the right and no clear path to the left or middle. I think the trees grew up and it needs some maintenance

A multitude of different types of shots, i.e. up and downhill, blind shots, etc. I feel this course will eventually be a great course because there is a LOT of room to work with. I also liked seeing a trash can on almost every hole.

Where to begin...
The baskets in the trees (quite a few) are near impossible to par or birdie. There was an enormous amount of brush and debris throughout and near impossible to negotiate at times. The tee boxes seemed a little short, but still manageable.

I realize this course is still a work in progress and that changes will be made eventually. From what I understand the youth pastor helped build (or did build) this course which is a very cool thing! It would be nice to see numbers on the baskets one day. It would also be nice to see several of the first holes cleared out more.

There were too many blind shots and holes that were just laid out poorly. I'll play it again eventually, but not any time soon.
