confusing, but pretty fun anyway. 2+ years

Pros:

Water involved on 3 holes, potentially 4 with a bad shot. Very nice baskets with about 3 foot poles atop with an orange flag with hole # on them. The "island" hole is a very nice design feature. Some decent distance involved though not to any extremes. A good stop on the way up to highbridge or sandy point too. Easy to find the park and its free. Won't interfere too much with other activities.

Cons:

Layout was very confusing the first times. had to do quite a bit of walking. Theres a tee box right after five that i have no idea what its for but i used it to play #6 or else you have to walk a ways past #9s pin to get to #6s tee. Small gravel tees, not much better than grass. If they add some nice tee signs, a better map, and possibly next tee signs it would greatly help with the course flow.

Other Thoughts:

I talked to the designer and he said they are considering adding more holes in a wooded section in the park near #11. Nothing amazing but i will definately play again when headed up to highbridge as its right off hwy 13. never busy i'd imagine as well. With a few tweaks to the layout for #6 and the possible addition of more wooded holes or water holes would bump the rating a bit, it is brand new. There is actually a nine hole course about 5 miles south in red arrow park in abbottsford. That has only 3 baskets but 9 tee areas. Not really worth a round though.
