Shortest hole on the front nine with several throwing options and lines to reach the basket. Down-then-back-up elevation change makes it easier than it looks to overthrow off the tee -- this hole is all about control and hitting whichever line you choose -- miss it and you're almost guaranteed to hit a tree and end up way short with a tough uphill approach through the same trees. Creek plays as OB for errant shots that catch the trees, but is dry much of the time. The deceptively steep slope back toward the fairway from the pin means a lot of approach shots and putts end up rolling down the hill for an even tougher par save shot. End up in the ditch behind the pin over on the right side and you may find yourself 20 feet out with no sight line to the basket at all.
