Course has it all 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Nov 6, 2010 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Course has everything one could ask for:
Elevation Shots
Water hazards
Good mix of long/short technical/easy holes
Spacious tee pads
Well marked
Many alternate pin locations

Cons:

Busy- usually have a large group in front or
behind you
Very minor flow issues between holes
Sometimes hard to see pin locations

Other Thoughts:

One of my favorite courses in the area, utilizes the terrain and features of the park very well. Pins are moved often which keeps things interesting, but can also make them hard to find at times. This course has a lot of variety and will have you throwing everything in your bag. Only real drawbacks are the popularity of the course. It is very busy, and is the only course that i have "lost" a disc in a clear and open field, due to someone else picking it up. Would be five stars if not for the high amount of traffic.

Great and Diverse 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Apr 26, 2009 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

All kinds of shots in beautiful park setting. The Fort Collins players are very involved in mixing up pin positions (4 per hole) keeping it interesting. A river and a small lake come into play on 5 holes.

Cons:

Because it is a park, it is busy! A number of fairways cross each other. It doesn't take away from each shot, but you could be waiting at times.

Other Thoughts:

People who live in Fort Collins are very serious about there stance on Disc Golf. Get involved with the locals - they know whats up. Play Grateful Disc Tourney in the spring!
