Fun, short, and challenging 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Mar 10, 2018 Played the course:once

Pros:

While a couple holes play long-ish and open, most of them are shorter and technical. Personally I enjoy shorter technical courses and I thoroughly enjoyed this one. This course isn't giving up any shots, you're going to have to work for them. There are many holes with multiple routes and finding the "easy" route isn't always easy.

Cons:

This course is on school grounds and does coincide with a walking trail. Be aware of pedestrians almost anywhere on the course. Be VERY aware of the prohibition on drugs an alcohol. That is not a con, just a warning.

Other Thoughts:

For a course on grade school property, this course is a lot of fun.

Tight Package 2+ years drive by

Pros:

Plenty of practice trying to sculpt a shot. Not too difficult to find my way around. You can either see the next tee or there is a marker to the next tee. A map is handy for confirming your location. Plenty of shade.

Cons:

You'll want to pay close attention to wear your disc goes. I've found a few disc and lost a few in wide open places with tall grass/weeds at other courses. This course is not so bad but still, you'll want to pay attention. Not much practice for long game.

Other Thoughts:

I'm fairly new to disc golf and always looking for a new course. I'm not a long distance guy but still trying. I do need practice controlling throws and this is a good place for that. The course is compact and could be played in an hour maybe. I did find one hole with a lot of brush and deep trench where I lost a disc due to a bad throw. More reason to practice and think about my shot before actually taking it. There has been a lot of rain lately but the course only had a couple of holes with slop. A lot of wood chips have been placed on some trails making them easy to traverse. A nice course that seems to be cared for and I'll return to.

Pros:

This is a great 18 hole course located in the woods between two schools. The course being in the woods makes this a very "technical" course. It will improve your short game accuracy. Good use of elevation change and land. Signs and map.

Cons:

Baskets don't have two layers of chains. Tee pads are gravel and short (need some updating). Unable to play during school hours. First time playing you might have a little trouble navigating to the next hole. Possibility of losing discs in the bushes/creek.

Other Thoughts:

Woods get really muddy after it rains. Overall a very fun quick course. Not really any long drives but it's fun!
