Pros:
Short/medium length technical wooded course
Uphill and Downhill holes
Requires use of all possible flight patterns
Scenic with very little traffic between the two schools
Very well maintained

Other Thoughts:
Felt inclined to write a review for this course based upon wishy washy prior reviews posted by others. Ive played this run more than most other people. Let me explain why and in my opinion why it deserves more merit.
This course has greatly increased my short game prowess. Although a little shorter than the average course it has plenty of holes in the 250-275ft mark. The trees are everpresent but not overwhelmingly daunting like ive seen on other courses.
Sculpting a fully thrown mid range on different lines and angles can be just as fullfilling as a full blown driver IMO.
The biggest area in which ive seen improvement in my game since playing FHF is short/approach shots. There are spaced throughout the trek a few holes ranging from 150-250 in addition to the 250+ ones mentioned above. Negotiating the challenging yet executable short range shots through the moderate woods here translates into the same shots being a cakewalk on other courses.
Guess this approach ties in with the advise i see constantly on forums. Meaning, the experienced players suggesting we all play putter/midrange rounds from time to time. This course demands it. The nice thing is that there ARE a couple/few holes that a fairway driver/driver can be utilized.
Furthermore, notice i didnt knock the gravel tee pads or gripe about their length. IMO with the shot requirements on this course its not as big of an issue. Most new courses take time to construct concrete tees initially anyways. im sure its on the horizon for this nice little new addition to kansas citys disc golf courses.
Two of my Favorite holes,
#4 Slightly uphill dogleg left. Easy tunnel shot off of the tee which opens up to a field with a line of trees guarding the basket on the left. At 260' there is a small opening revealing the baskets location on a small mound.

Aproximatly 260' blind anhyzer shot which you must sculpt around the school. About 40ft behind the basket is the Red Caboose which im sure will be the signature of this fine little course.
Highly recommend trying this trek at least once if in the nkc area. Im sure it will only improve in time.
