Lots of throws and challenging wind 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Nov 27, 2016 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

-Fun course with a variety of obstacles and lines you need to be able to hit
-Some fun elevation changes in the back 9 mix it up
-Good mix of distance and short, more technical hole locations
-Challenging islands to hit for beginners
-Well worn tee pads to throw from with well marked basket locations
-Well maintained park with plenty of parking

Cons:

-There is water on almost every hole, some of it is relatively easy to get a disc out of and some you are going to need a retriever and some luck to get a disc out
-Hole 7's tee pad is difficult to find. It is under the overpass and the location is spray painted on the water hazard side of the sidewalk
-If the wind picks up this course can get pretty nasty, so make sure you have a complement of overstable discs
-Make sure to have a map, some of the teepad locations can be tricky to find

Other Thoughts:

-No restrooms in the area

Good for what it is 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Dec 24, 2012 Played the course:once

Pros:

Green Belt does the best it can with what it has. The "river" is used the best it can be. Most shots are either going over it or near it. Brings a high risk/reward to most of your throws. Good mix of distance and elevation.
Great tee signs that make navigation easy, even for your first time out.
Big parking lot and park was relatively clean and well maintained.

Cons:

Greenbelt looks like it was made for a RHBH player with no real "bomb" shot. Lacks teepads on all holes and baskets could use some upgrading. Long walk between some holes but nothing to really complain about.

Other Thoughts:

Looking at the other reviews I completely disagree. I think greenbelt is worth the trip. It is not even close to a destination course but if you are in the area it is worth the stop. Good use of land and is a very exciting play. There is a big possibility you might have to go swimming for a disc. Great park that is worth playing multiple times.
