With it's un-level tee area, uphill, blind, and a 45 degree turn into a straight (not curving) lane to the basket, Hole 5 is the trickster of the front nine at Gulley. I throw a Verdict (rhbh) so that it will fade into the lane, and concede the fact that it will be short of the basket. Rather control to that fairway for the three than being in the woods scrambling for bogie.
