Pros:

Easy to navigate
Nice tee pads
Designers have done a good job at using the landscape they have for some good shots

Cons:

Very open on the majority of holes. Without using out of bounds course is very simple

Other Thoughts:

Easy access off the highway and good for a quick round if you're short on time.

Pros:

- tee signs are well marked with all needed information
- a large variety of shot distances ranging from 200' to over 600'
- quite a few holes with challenging OB either natural or man made
- a few unique basket setups, a hanging basket, a elevated basket, and a few slightly short or tall baskets
-beautiful views
-newly installed concrete tee pads

Cons:

- a swampy ditch runs through a handful of shots on the front nine but on 1 or 2 holes you really cant even see the ditch until you are in it, and the basket is very close to it
-there are quite a few shots that are just wide open 300' to 400'
- prairie dog holes

Other Thoughts:

Some recent improvements have really made this course well worth playing. Great job to the Flying Eagle Disc Society!

Real good start. 2+ years

Pros:

Spectacular scenery (mountains and river). Easy navigation by looking at the tee signs. Variety of distances. Special features to increase interest. Quick access off I-70.

Cons:

Prairie dog holes. A lot of playing across one big field. I hear the course is still being reconfigured to find the best layout, so not all the tees are permanent yet and the numbers on the baskets don't match the hole numbers. This is not a big problem, because the tees are well-marked and level, and the tee signs have maps that show where to play.

Other Thoughts:

When I first saw the location of this course, I thought that, to people living in the mountains of Colorado, a flat open field must be the most precise and rare type of terrain. Perhaps they put the course here as a break from all those huge downhill bombers they do everyday in their backyard.
But, then I played the course and found they were doing everything they can to squeeze every bit of fun from the land they have to work with.
Also, they're doing the little extras that make all the difference. For example, the artificial "island" is marked with string and has a drop zone. As many holes as possible play along the edge where the trees and river are. One hole has a hanging basket - and it's hanging on its own zip line!
You'll get the feeling the course is improving right before your eyes. If you're going by on I-70, play it and update the reviews.
