Pros:

There are baskets...and it's 18 holes. I seriously have a hard time finding positives for this course.

There's a lot of elevation in play, in some cases well (holes 1, 2, 12, 13, 14). The main foe here is slight elevation changes and wind. There are some nice distances that will let you air out your drives on some holes.

Cons:

Where to begin. Navigation here is only easy because of how open the course is. Without a map, I would have had a hard time figuring out where hole 4 was (no tee sign, and you have to walk along a pretty busy highway to get there). "Tee pads" are marked out by two 4" stone squares in the ground. I assume most of the holes have this, but seeing as the grass was ankle high in most places, I can't say for sure. Tee pads were basically worn out grass spots.

Most holes were marked simply by a 4x4 post in the ground. Without the aforementioned map, distances would have been a total guessing game.

Upkeep was pretty bad when I was there. I'd imagine that after the grass is mowed, it's a somewhat scenic area...but I've also been told that the grass is rarely cut. Scruffy is my best description. It felt like a crummy par 3 ball golf course after the zombie apocalypse.

Other Thoughts:

The best thing about this course is that now that I've bagged it, I'll never have to play it again. The challenge is minimal, other than a few longer holes. To be honest, even if I lived right across the street from this place, I'd probably still pack up and play all my rounds at Silver Creek.

Make sure you print out a map before going here.

Pros:

Holes 1-3 and a few in the woods are pretty nice. They utilize some elevation, water hazard, and sporadic trees to force a specific throw off the tee. I love this kid of "required skill" to play a hole. Unfortunaely that's where my PROS will end here.

There are three tees on some holes but in most cases all they add are distance because they are located on the wide open prairie holes.

Cons:

Wide open and not much elevation. Anyone who has read my reviews knows I hate wide open holes that may be mowed or have a tee sign which shows a certain direction of play. If there are no obstacles between you and the basket (as the majority of holes at Indian Creek are), then there is no required skill to play here. The course will not force you to play outside the norm and not make you a better player without challenge. The only challenge will be finding your disc in the long grass, but it don't worry, your upshot will still be wide open.

Not enough wooded holes! There are some excellent woods right nestled in with the creek that flows through. 3-5 more holes could be in those woods which would create so much more balance, character, and challenge.

The parks department could do wonders for this park by bringing in some large mature trees as defined fairway routes and borders. But unfortunately worthless and useless people would probably destroy them too.

This was an old dog park, and there is also a kennel nearby so you can hear dogs barking CONSTANTLY!

Other Thoughts:

Skip Indian Creek - I personnally hate that the disc club down there crams Indian Creek down your throat! It sucks that Manitowalk in the Park tournament (a fantastic event!) has been downgraded and forces you to play one round on each course instead of enjoying the beauty of Silver Creek twice.

No one likes Indian Creek, it's just quieter than the overrun Silver Creek park. Go a few miles (30) north and play WINTER PARK!

Pros:

A good mix of short and long holes, with the shorter holes needing more finesse. Three different tee locations, albeit natural ones.

Cons:

If you don't have the course map (usually available on hole 1, but there wasn't any left for me) you are going to get lost. Really lost. The first few holes play out fine, but going from 3 to 4, the only beaten path I saw was one going up into the STREET and crossing a bridge. After playing hole 16, I was lost again, seeing no way to cross the creek, so the fastest way back to the parking lot was to walk across the railroad tracks which crosses over a ~50ft ravine. It's also very easy to lose discs here, the roughs are extremely tall. I lost 3 discs that day. Oh well.

Other Thoughts:

If the course had better signage and more of a natural flow to the placements, I would have given it a much better rating.
