Indian Hills 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 5, 2014 Played the course:once

Pros:

-Some cool holes
-solid tees
-not crowded (didn't see a single disc golfer from 4 to 6 on a Tuesday)
-It will most definitely challenge your accuracy

Cons:

-Unclear where tees are when going from hole to hole.
- Many of the fairways are more like hiking paths rather than disc fairways
-there is a lot of low branch growth in the fairways/near the baskets
-tee maps on each hole (aside from the ones missing their signs) are not too helpful
-Many of the baskets are blind shots; not good if playing alone especially for the first time
-lots of poison ivy/oak on the sides of the tight fairways (luckily I am not allergic but none the less)

Other Thoughts:

This is a very technical course with a lot of challenges. There are not many options for those who are not really good AM or Pro unless you want to go rummaging through the poison Ivy/Oak.
In regards to the direction of "1st tee by swing set" There are three swing sets. If you park in the lot at 5009 Aztec Blvd. the swing set that is mentioned is to the right (the opposite direction of the basketball court)

Little bit too much love 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Dec 24, 2009 Played the course:once

Pros:

Okay so the course starts off with a front nine that has its challenges and some holes are sort of long. The holes are well layed out and some of them can be challenging with small and bigger trees in the middle of the fairways. Its in a nice, quiet location in a neighborhood that you would not expect to have a course in.

Cons:

Ok where do I begin? The back nine or so has shots that are impossible because the trees and the brush is not cut enough away to have a shot at all. Also the back half of the course makes it hard to figure out where you are going from tee to tee because the lay-out is not setup in a nice pattern. Once you get to number 12 you have to go into a whole other part of the park which gets very confusing. I only give this course 2 discs because the last 2 holes are cool and the front 10 or so are reasonable disc golf holes. The canopies in the woods makes it impossible to score and there is plenty of confusion on where new holes start.

Other Thoughts:

If you're driving through Missouri and want to stop on the way, just keep driving to Kansas City.
