Pros:

great set up. A set up of tight trees into some " playable " trees. Then wide open area

Cons:

first 5 holes need some work. The first 5 holes are in ruff shape.

Other Thoughts:

need for a trash can at every other hole. This would help the students recycle and keep the school a little cleaner.

Pros:

It's free with parking right next to the course. Good mixture of open shots along with tight heavily wooded shots. Baskets are in great shape. Beautiful Vermont scenery on many of the tee shots. Makeshift bridges were placed in the really wet areas which is helpful if it's recently rained.

Cons:

Since they added 6 more holes (to make it 18) it's extremely confusing. Tee boxes are pretty rough on a few holes with uneven footing. Some basket placements are tough and on more than a few shots there's so many trees that it's more luck than skill. If the signs were updated and corrected (hole # 7 has a tee sign for # 1 and # 7 on the basket) it would make things a lot easier.

Other Thoughts:

When you first pull into the parking lot, the tee for hole # 7 is directly to your right. The sign is old and says # 1, but they added 6 holes and it's actually the tee for # 7 (the basket says 7 and if you look can see where it used to say 1). The tee for hole # 1 is actually across the road from # 7 and down a little path (not the big open space to the right, but a little foot path to the left of that). You play 1-6 and then walk back up the hill towards the parking lot for # 7. Some of the other tees require you to walk across a road or up a hill to find them.

The course can be pretty wet in some spots (marsh, puddles and streams) so bring a towel/rag to wipe discs in case.

Pros:

Free, clean and easy to play. Parking shouldn't be a problem outside of the school year. Great terrain with mix of open fields and tight wooded holes. A couple of hole with multiple options. Great views, and some art in the woods.

Cons:

Course still has old signage, so if you are not aware you will miss the first 6 holes. Tee pads need serious work, some are close to unusable. If it is raining, and since its summer in Vermont it will be, you will be in the mud for a good portion of play.

Other Thoughts:

Good field to practice drives.
