Best tee signing I've ever seen! 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Mar 9, 2015 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

-Amazing signage! This course has the best sing I have ever seen. All signs include yardage, par (adult/child) and an extremely detailed map of the hole. There is also a course map just off of hole one in the parking lot with score cards available.
-Fast playing. This course has a mix of short and mid range holes. Playing in a small group it is easy to play a round in under an hour for experienced players.
-Yellow ringed DISCCatcher baskets make it easy to find baskets in the wooded holes your first time through.
-Fun for all ages. This course could easily be played by kids and adults alike.
-Great practice course. A great mix of uphill, downhill and flat holes with a reasonably equal number of left, right and straight holes.
-Textured concrete tee pads. Makes play easy in wet conditions.

Cons:

-Tee pads at this course are concrete however some are too small for a longer x-step approach.
-Some holes in this course are right next to each other so it would be possible for a stray or deflected disc to land in another fairway.
-No garbage cans, benches or restrooms.
-Hole 1 is thrown over the parking lot entrance and a ditch which could cause problems in wet conditions. Playing the other 17 holes with soaking wet shoes is not fun.
-No alcohol or tobacco. This course is at a junior high school so if the limitations are an issue for you take that into account.

Other Thoughts:

Overall this course is worth a try. Nothing in this course is extremely challenging so it can be a fun course to play casually or competitively. I have played this course quite a few times and still find it to be enjoyable.

Great play if in the area 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 27, 2014 Played the course:once

Pros:

*Great elevation changes. Uphills, downhills.
*A lot of finesse shots and gaps
*Balanced mix of lefts, rights, center shots

Cons:

*First hole is kind of a joke, it gets much better after that.
*Pretty windy area
*The first few holes are a bit short (bring your midrange!) but most can be done with your driver.
*A few of the signs are misleading as to which direction to throw (left or right)
*Trails could be packed down a little more

Other Thoughts:

We drove from Rochester, MN, to come play. Worth the drive to check it out in my opinion. We don't have any elevation changes around here. Overall a great course. They do need a restroom there though. Also be sure to figure out where the basket is before you throw as the signs are a bit misleading! This course would be frustrating for beginners as they'd be digging in the Out of Bounds all day but anyone mid-skilled/expert should be fine.Overall a nice course that I'll be playing at whenever I'm in the area.
