Better to disc down, make the gap, and get to mid-fairway here, than to hit one of the early trees and have to scramble. Even a clean, stronger shot straight up the gut has a good chance of catching one of the later trees, making this hole a little bit of a spray and pray for all but the most accurate thrower off the tee.
